Learning disabilities

Club Connect is based in Maidstone and offers a various activities for people with a learning disability.

These include art classes, card making, gentle keep fit, rambles and visits for people with a learning disability. They can also help you to find voluntary work and access educational courses.

 

Two workers holding plantsGrowing Concern is a gardening project based in Staplehurst in Kent. Plants are grown on site and are then delivered to offices in the Maidstone area. Regular visits then take place to keep the plants watered and healthy. The service also produces hanging baskets, and flower and plant decorations.

Mental health

Man using computerPeople in the process of regaining their mental health and well-being often need support to gain new skills and confidence to enable them to resume a full life and return to employment. We have services in Maidstone, Dartford, Gravesend, Folkestone and Camberley which offer this support and also opportunities to experience work placements that pay a real wage.
